Best Poutine in Ottawa

I am what you call a foodie. I’ve lived in Ottawa my entire life and I’ve made it my mission to find the best local poutine. These are the places I swear by:

Smokin R&Rs BBQ:

This place is a hidden gem in Ottawa. It’s located in the Stittsville area. It is a chip stand and operates Wednesday to Sunday from

11am-6pm. If you want to eat mouth watering poutine this is the right place for you. Some of my favourite options are the brisket poutine, pulled pork poutine, and maple pepper bacon poutine.

The Great Canadian Poutinerie:

I know there’s a few of these restaurants in Ottawa, but the one that’s located in Orleans is the best one. This place has a unique menu with huge portion sizes. They range from limited, to great size, to monster size. I personally recommend great size because monster is way too big and limited is too small. This restaurant is open from 11am-9pm every day. My favourite poutines to order are the Canadian poutine and the Wolf poutine. Just go on their website and look at these delicious creations.

Fritomania:

Yet another chip stand perfecting the art of poutine. This hidden gem is located in Orleans and has really refined the classic poutine. Their menu is limited compared to the other options in this article, but if you want a classic poutine, that is done right and delicious this is the place you need to try. They’re open every day except Tuesdays and open from 11am-8pm.
