My Obsession with Showering

Picture this; you’ve spent your entire day out in the heat planting trees, everything aches, you’re sweaty and dirty. Then you enter your paradise or your shower as some people like to call it. You turn the water on and it just falls right on your head and gives you a feeling of ecstasy. This is what showering is like for me.
I shower 2-3 times per day. I have 4 different types of body washes, 2 shampoos, 2 conditioners, and a loofah. Frankly, I love showering. I spend my day dealing with so much bullshit, answering questions, fixing problems, being yelled at…did I mention I am miserable at work? So when I enter my bathtub I’m more or less entering my safe zone. Showering is therapeutic for me. I stand in there and just let my thoughts wander. Did you ever wonder why Hyundai is still in business when they make horrible cars? Well I have, it’s one of many thoughts that cross my mind while showering.
At this point I would classify myself as a professional when it comes to showering. Most doctors recommend not showering as much as I do because your skin will become dry. But my skin stays as soft as a baby’s bottom. I took my first shower back in April 1994 and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve reached a point where I do not use shower curtains anymore, I only use shower doors. I learned a while ago a shower is enhanced when a door is used instead of a curtain.
Here are some showering fun facts. 75% of people pee in the shower. Men take more showers than women. The average shower takes 13 minutes to complete. William Feetham invented the shower back in 1767.
At the end of the day, showering is almost as important as having water, food, and shelter. I hope I have managed to teach my beloved readers something new about showering.
